"I will arrest the Pope."

You tend to hear a lot of daft things time to time, so it came as no surprise to me when Richard Dawkins, atheist, campaigner, and general boob said that he use a legal loophole to have the Pope arrested when he is visiting the UK.

Apart from the fact that he is probably biased in his "reasoning" if you can even use that word because he is an atheist, the mere audacity that you would need to have to even make such a comment is immense.

I can't help but think that it is exactly because he is an atheist that Dawkins is launching this crusade. Although he might not have better things to do the Pope does.

Whilst I agree the actions of the Vatican recently are not exactly honourable, it stands to reason that this is perhaps taking it a little too far.
I really doubt this will take off the ground and if it does all it will succeed in doing is waste the time of many people in the legal profession and otherwise.

Oh, Richard Dawkins, when will your radical atheist antics end?
Has anyone noticed how in the photo complimenting the article, he bears an uncanny resemblace to Benedict himself? All he needs now is the hat and staff...

Dawkin's keeps making a bit of a tit of himself in his campaign against tradition and religion.
